This is our video of the lights sequenced to the theme from Looney Tunes. We used 64 channels of Light-O-Rama as well as the Light-O-Rama S3 software suite for the programming. I sequenced this especially for my oldest daughter, and she really liked it. I also got a lot of great responses from visitors to the show. I will definitely be including this one in next year's show.

Thank You!!!
We were hoping to be able to run the lights a little longer into January, but it seems the computer ate the files so we're going to have to cut it short. Thank you to EVERYONE who came out and stopped to watch the show. We hope that you enjoyed yourselves, and that it brought a little joy into your lives. We had a great turnout this year, over 250 people! We have already started planning for next year, and we hope to see you again! We would also like to thank the city of Lake Station for presenting us with 2nd place in the city's lighting contest! Thank you again to EVERYONE for making this year so special!

A Few Finished Products
The light show has been on for just over 2 weeks now, and we've estimated 150 visitors! The show seems to be a real hit around town and we couldn't be happier! We entered our city's lighting contest, and placed 2nd also!
Below are a few of the songs that we have recorded, there are more to come. Enjoy!

Almost time!
After a long Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends, we had a LOT of work to do when we came home!
Most of the lights are up, just need to be plugged in and tested with the light controllers. Spent most of the day today busting my (Abbi) butt to get most of the ground decorating done. All of those are working, so that's good news. Friday will be another busy day of working and Saturday and Sunday afternoon we'll be testing the sequences.
Hope to see you all out at our place on Dec. 4 @ 6pm!

Progress
Well, progress has been made on our display this year. Many lights went up over the weekend. We also picked up our new "Tune To" sign from the local sign shop. It came out really nice, and we think that it will add a professional touh to our display. We are hoping to finish putting lights up by next weekend so that we have time to test and tweek our sequences prior to the "Lights On" event on December 4th. We are looking forward to seeing the final display, and we hope that you are as well.

Arch Complete!
We finished up one of our 3 arches tonight. We've been working on it here and there for the last few weeks. Tonight we finished it up and tested it. This is a 7 foot tall arch with 2,240 lights on it.
Here are the results! :)

Holcomb Holiday Lights 2011
If you're reading this, than you probably live in or around Lake Station, or know someone who does and you might be aware of the light show that we've had for the last 2 years at our home. We have been gearing up for this years show for the past few weeks, creating our designs and working on building some new props for this years show.
Hopefully you are as excited about them as we are!
We have a total of 64 channels this year that we're working on sequencing. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and with both of us in school, we are stretched to the max right now.
We anticipate opening night to be December 4th and will run the lights through the first week of January.
We have something very special that we are trying to put into place this year, we will let you know more about it as we know more.
Until then, please pass on our blog to all of your family and friends!
